I ordered a size up because my kid is tall and slim, and the pants actually fit him perfectly (we've rolled the waistband) with room to grow in the waist. the cuffs make it so he can wear them now & i believe he'll be able to wear them for another year (which is also an accomplishment in little kid clothing). We are thrilled with this purchase and the "doggie pants" are a kid favorite!
